Yoseob belongs to a small family together with her older sister. The interest in music first won when he heard the music of Brian McKnight, after it began to practice singing. After he heard enough music in a similar style, but was realized that it could not be rooted to a specific genre, then it began to listen to other music genres such as dance and also rock. When he was in high school, he joined a school band, where he made a large number of performances of hard rock and metal. Yoseob really wanted to try to be a modern rock artist, however, then his superiors told him that would ruin his State of mind, rather than promote it.
He became a trainee of JYP entertainment, but after receiving a bad grade in practice exams, it was retired. Then I moved to another agency, M Boat Entertainment, where he was trained for 5 years before being transferred to Cube entertainment, where finally became a member of BEAST. When he was still an apprentice of Cube entertainment, became a dancer for AJ, an old friend from high school, and soon fellow group, who is currently known as Lee KiKwang, in music videos and live performances of "Wipe the Tears" and "Dancing Shoes".
Yoseob released a digital single by Daniel de Dalmatian, entitled "First Snow and First Kiss" and was singing at OSTs for several Korean dramas, such as "Happy Birthday" drama "More Charming by the Day", and "Loving You" to "All My Love". He was also a member of the permanent cast of Oh! My School of the KBS, along with other idols, such as Lee KiKwang (group companion), Lee Joon from MBLAQ, Secret Hyosung, between other. From March 20 to April 10, 2011, Yoseob participated in the musical "Gwanghwamun Sonata" as Jiyong, the son of the two protagonists. The August 12 participated in the song solo Bang YongGook, entitled "I Remember", which was composed by himself and Chance of One Day. On September 27, was freed one of the OST for the drama "Poseidon" of KBS, which featured the vocal talents of Yang YoSeob. The new song of Yoseob, entitled 'No', was a part of collaboration between Rado and the production duo of Ji In and Wontag. Yang Yoseob currently attends the University of East Broadcasting Arts. The day 24 August 2010 was revealed that Yang Yoseob has undergone surgery to eliminate chronic infections of rhinitis. The idol was considered more monkey. Pope Hong (the owner of Cube) in the letter dedicated to Yoseob in the book of the company revealed that Yo Seob is responsible for which everyone in the company (up to the less important) are comfortable and happy. Fans often call him "The Voice Treasure of the Nation" to which Yoseob feels very ashamed and happy at the same time.
